Comprehensive gastrointestinal care for diagnostic ambulatory patients and interventional GI care for inpatients and outpatients.


Patient Population
  • Pediatric and adult; inpatient and outpatient
  • ERCP, endoscopic ultrasound, bronchoscopy, inpatient GI services
Number of Beds
  • Outpatient (JHOC 7): 4 procedure; 11 recovery (pre- and post-procedure care)
  • Interventional (Blalock 4): 6 procedure; 11 recovery; outpatient prep room with capacity of 6
Nurse/Patient Ratio
  • Procedure rooms: 1-2 nurses
  • Recovery room: 4 nurses including charge
Rotation/Shifts
  • 10-hour
Skill Mix
  • 90 percent RN; 10 percent clinical associate
  • Recommended certification: ACLS and CGRN
