Housed in the state-of-the-art Harry and Jeannette Weinberg Building, the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center is ranked in the top three by U.S. News & World Report and is one of 34 designated by the National Cancer Institute.

Nurses here contribute heavily to the science and knowledge of oncology as we pioneer advanced approaches to patient care, such as IPOP, our inpatient/outpatient continuum of care program.  Specialized educational and mentoring programs prepare oncology nurses for practice in the following subspecialties:

  • Solid tumors
  • Leukemia/hematologic malignancies
  • Blood/bone marrow transplant
  • Radiation oncology
  • Infusion therapy
  • Oncology critical care
  • Cancer clinical trials
