- Flexible shifts based on patient volume; minimal weekend, holiday and night-shift rotation; permanent evenings and nights; availability call

- 100 percent RN; 57 percent BSN; 7 percent MSN

| Orientation |
- Individualized with unit-based preceptor
- Observation of surgeries
- Visual acuity assessment (adult and pediatric)
- Ocular trauma triage
- Rehabilitation and guiding of patients with low vision
- Sensitivity training
