General and intermediate care for the youngest of young patients with diagnoses encompassing every body system.


Patient Population
  • Newborn to age 4
  • Medical diagnoses include acute and chronic lung diseases, seizure disorders, sepsis, gastroesophageal reflux disease, congenital anomalies, problems related to prematurity
  • Surgeries include pulmonary, cardiac, neurologic, orthopedic, genitourinary, gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, kidney and liver transplant

  • 34
Nurse/Patient Ratio
  • 1:2-3
Rotation/Shifts
  • 8 and 12 hours
  • Flexible, self-schedule
Skill Mix
  • All RN staff, 85 percent BSN-prepared
