  • Nurse monitors all inpatients during radiological procedures

  • Varying acuity
  • Inpatient and outpatient
Number of Beds
  • 6 Siemens Body CT scanners throughout JHH, ED, Weinberg Radiology and the JH Outpatient Center
Nurse/Patient Ratio
  • 1:4
Rotation/Shifts
  • Monday-Friday; day shift
Skill Mix
  • 100 percent RN; 75 percent BSN
  • Required competencies: acute care background; ACLS, PALS and basic cardiopulmonary certification
Orientation
  • 80 hours regular radiology orientation
  • 2 weeks with CT nurses and technologists
